NY Times story on technology and football

I'm not a fan of the sport, but here's an article of a football coach's use of technology. I'm thinking of using it to reach the less technically-inclined of our members.

A note about subscriptions to COaTI intranet content

[textile]

*Want to be alerted when a specific item on the intranet receives a response or is updated without having to check the intranet all the time?*

Then what you want to do is use "subscriptions." At the bottom of every item, there's a link that says 'subscribe.' Clicking this link will create a subscription to that item. When the item is updated, responded to, or edited, the system will send you an email alerting you to the change.

COaTI Intranet Update

As you can see, the intranet's undergone some substantial changes since it's debut in California. After our first session, there were a number of clear "rough spots" that needed working out. Hopefully, those rough spots have been addressed and all is working. We'll be preparing an updated "How to use the COaTI Intranet" document, and will get that out to you shortly.
