What are the applications of Google Maps API [http://www.google.com/apis/maps/]?
Has anyone used it in their own organizations? or know of others that use it online?
Some of what I would like to know is, how have others used Google Maps:

I'd like to know about what is "up and coming" in terms of technology to get your organization's message out to a broad range of people: constituents, funders and media; and I would also like to know about technology which "reinforces" your message.
Anyone have tips for fancy flyer making--whether it's Publisher or another program?
Do you hire someone to come in and do the training? If so, how do you find a good trainor? Do you send folks out to adult ed classes or something external? What is a good amount to budget for something like this?
I'm looking for ideas for good systems/methods to import voter information into Access databases. We (APEN) have an electoral database that gets bigger with each election and we're struggling each time to incorporate the data we gather with new voter rolls from the county registrar.
