Historically, CiviCRM required the billing address block on online pages such as Contribution pages, Membership pages, and Event pages, that use the Stripe payment processor for credit cards.
It's no longer the case. Stripe now collects the basic information it needs on the same line that a person enters their credit card number.
So if you'd like to remove the Billing Address block, this is how to do it:
Click on Administer menu > CiviContribute > Stripe Settings
- You will need to have Powerbase administrator privileges to access this menu.
Disable the billing address block in the Stripe settings
- Check the box "Disable Billing Address Fields"
- Click SAVE
