There are three ways of recording a credit card contribution "offline". "Offline" in this context means that it's not being recorded through a public-facing contribution page - instead it is being recorded by a person that is logged into your database.
- Go to Contributions>New Contributions. Click Submit Credit Card Contribution and fill out the form; or
- Go to the individual's contact record,click on Actions and "Add Contribution". Click Submit Credit Card Contribution and fill out the form; or
- Go to the individual's contribution page and click on the "Submit Credit Card Contribution" button.
Additional notes:
You can credit a personal campaign page by going to the soft credit section and select the link to "credit this contribution to a personal campaign page"
In the additional details page, you can assign the contribution to a contribution page, which is handy if you are running a campaign with a goal and you want to show all the contributions towards the goal.
