Here are excel and "csv" text practice files you can download:
* "Practice file for excel 1.xls" can be used to practice skills on filtering, sorting, finding blank fields, and finding duplicates;
* "Practice file for excel 1.txt" can be used to practice importing a comma separated value file ("csv" files) into excel [this file contains the same data as "Practice file for excel 1.xls"];

This is a copy of chapter 3 from Alan S. Gerber and Donald P. Green's book Get Out The Vote.

The chapter is a good summary of the opportunities and challenges in door to door canvassing, and is well worth reading.
